The staff is friendly and well informed. The music, decor and location right on Kirkwood ensure a lively shopping experience. If you have never been there, you should check it out!

I have been going to the original downtown store since it opened. Of course I was 3 so I had to go with my mom. It's amazing to me how much the original store has kept the same feel after all of these years while keeping up with the times. It's always a treat to go there for a quick healty lunch from the deli or to stock up on groceries.

I remember when Pitaya opened in it's first incarnation, selling sweaters, hats, slippers, and scarves imported from Central America. Boy have they changed! Their merchandise is trendy and affordable. Friendly and laid back empolyees make it fun to shop. The owner, Michael, has really done a fantastic job with his stores.

I wanted to let everyone know that I switched to Canine Companions from another boarding facility and have had nothing but a great experience. I have used the boarding, daycare, and even started using the vet there. I like knowing they have a vet there. I like the condition my dog comes home in. She seems to really enjoy it there. Be wise when you read review pages because I have to say that I really have a hard time believing any one time visitors. Believe what you like but I have had a great experience and my friends that have been going to Canine Companions have had great experiences too. I also want to say that when I walked in the first time to ask about boarding they took me around the place and showed me everything. They didn't have anything to hide. I would say go by and check it out.

Surburban Lanes is a great place to go for a family night out, or for a friends get-together. They have great bowling specials, coupons located arourd town, a smoke-free environment, and very friendly employees. The music can get a little loud, but I think that you can expect this in the bowling atmosphere. Easy location to find. Snack bar located inside with speicals running on different days of the week. Very fun time!!

I have been into the Cactus Flower on several occassions, usually just to browse. They have a wonderful selection of antique jewlery, and that is why I keep going back. The lady working in the store is happy to give me and information on the jewlery that she has. I love this type of service. The prices are great, and they are in a terrific location, being in the downtown area. It is so great to be out looking around for the day, and be able to pop in and check out the new stuff. They also have a great line of vintage clothing. and a great little gift area.

Pitaya is a really fun place to shop. They have a great atmosphere, fun music, nice empoyees and some really great clothes. They are definately geared towards the younger crowd. Which is to be expected so close to campus. They have pretty low prices considering how fashion forward their pieces are. Their stock goes really really fast. Cute shoes and jewelry also.

A Propos is a really lovely store. If you are looking for unique styles and excellent quality gifts and jewelry, than this is must shop for you. They have been around for years, and have always had great merchandise and wonderful customer service. My mom once bought some really beautiful earrings for me as a gift. Unfortunately the gemstone fell out of one of them about a month after she bought them. The owner actually replaced the stone and went to great pains to match it with the stone I still had.

I go to Roberts for nearly all of my photographic supplies. Some of the prices aren't as good as one might find online, but the staff is helpful, friendly, and knows a great deal about photography. They offer a wide range of services (digital printing, film processing, camera repair, etc), and carry all the basic necessities for photography.
