Review content:
I went to Marathon Grill on Mother's Day with 2 friends around noon. Though we knew it might be busy with the church crowd and moms, I was pleased to see so many open tables when we walked in. However, there was a huge line of people waiting. The hostess told me 10 minutes and in that time my friends and I counted 8 open tables. There were so many people "working' but it didn't seem like anything was being accomplished. The hostess was AWFUL. I don't think she had any idea what was going on and would disappear to haphazardly clear tables. When they were ready for us (15 minutes later), she said "2?" even though it clearly said "3" in front of her and then attempted to seat us inside even though she had written "outside" by my name. I was shocked at how unorganized it was.
The food was fine but the overall experience was so maddening that I don't think I'll be going back there any time soon. Get it together!
