I cannot stress enough what a pleasant experience it is to work with Amanda Bryan in a real estate transaction. She is so thorough, and committed to the entire process--with you every step of the way!
She really listens to her clients and responds to their needs.
She has great contacts in the mortgage industry, which really helps make a sale go smoothly from a financing standpoint.
Amanda's office is in Chapel Hill, but she works throughout the Triangle area, especially in Chapel Hill, Durham, and Pittsboro.

My wife and I recently purchased our first home with the help of Julia Tucker at The Home Team. The process was complicated because the house had been foreclosed and was held by a bank that had, in turn, hired a local real estate firm to handle the property. Communication from the other firm was nearly non-existent, which made the process all the more stressful. Julia was great and helped make the process as easy as pain-free as possible. She handled all the details, got answers to every question, and helped us to get a great price.

I live in Alta Springs and have been very pleased with the level of service that I receive from the staff at Alta Springs. When I have a repair that is needed, someone always responds- even one time at 10 pm! The pool is great, the workout room is average, the apartments are nice! I also love the location- very close to campus and 40 and 15-501. I would recommend these apartments if you are looking for a place in Chapel Hill.

My husband and I lived at Notting Hill for about 2.5 years. We enjoyed living there. The rent was reasonable, but I hear it is on the rise. The tennis court and pool are nice. The workout room is only so-so. There are 2 treadmills and one seems to almost always be broken. They keep the grounds very clean (the maintenance staff goes around and picks up trash every morning). The office staff is nice and fairly competent. It is on the Chapel Hill busline which is very nice. It's also close to good grocery shopping - a nice Harris Teeter, Southern Season, Whole Foods, and Earth Fare all within 7-8 minutes. It's also very close to I-40, which is good for commuters.
The individual apartments are roomy with good storage space. There's a washer/dryer hookup, so buy your own and don't be sucked into the high monthly rental fee for renting a set. We were on the first floor and could hear our neighbors upstairs, but not the neighbors on the sides.

For the price you get decent apartments close to campus. In fact, there is even a decent pool. However, the parking situation is ridiculous. They tow 24/7 if you do not have a sticker, so make sure you tell guests if you live here not to park in front of your apartement. I think it's ridiculous because it's $150 for towing and college students who live there don't have that kind of money to throw away.

I lived in Granville towers freshman year, and would definitely recommend to anyone NOT to live there unless they really wanted to join a fraternity or sorority, or liked living with unfriendly people with lots of money. The only good thing about Granville is its proximity to campus. Other than that, the rooms are tiny, overpriced, and out-dated. The cafeteria is pretty good, and recently remodeled. The pool is unthinkable (no one has any idea of what goes on in there at night), and parking is good.
