Businiess name:  Candle Cafe
Review by:  David U.
Review content:
It's so nice to have a veggie restaurant like Candle Cafe in our neighborhood. I have only recently discovered it and have only tried the club sandwich, which was made with a wonderful grainy bread, and the best "faux" mayonnaise ever, on the side, along with a good cole-slaw. I also had the coconut cheesecake, which was delicious. A larger circling of their super chocolate sauce around the cheesecake would not have gone amiss...Yum! I was in the mood for tomato juice or a "V-8" -type drink, and was a bit disappointed that they didn't have a tomato juice-based drink, but I did fine with water. The service was superb--and the atmosphere friendly...though not at all "elegant" in my mind, as one reader claimed it to be. There were several small groups dining, but also many single-diners...so no uncomfortable feeling if you ask for "a table for one" there!
