Large, public university. Alabama residents pay in-state tuition. Excellent programs, beautiful campus, well maintained. On campus housing available, though many students rent apartments and either park on campus or take the University shuttle. Parking passes can be obtained, but parking is generally considered a long-standing problem. Very friendly, helpful students and staff. NCAA Athletics are top notch, and student tickets are generally not a problem to obtain.
