My dog ate a corn cob and was very, very sick! I had no idea that she had eaten it until Dr. Betz called me after the surgery and told me what she had pulled out of her stomach! It must have been down there for several weeks because we had no idea...certainly hadn't had any corn recently. Dr. Betz had to remove part of her intestines and put her all back together....but she did a great job because the very next day my dog was feeling so well she tried to eat not only her food, but my other 3 dogs food too! She healed very quickly and is doing well to this day! I am so grateful to Dr. Betz, her skill, knowledge and compassion saved my dog's life!
