This Gym is incredibly shady. ***An easy way to spot FAKE reviews, When individuals recently put out 5 star reviews for this gym and also, completely by coincidence, they ALL just happen to write 5 star reviews for the exact same businesses in Raleigh and Charlotte. Klinger Gracia, Marth Allenc, Irene Thomas, Dona Shier...to name a few. Check out their public Google profiles, they all review the same businesses. Not suspicious at all.***
My husband and I have had several difficulties being charged fees with this gym that were allegedly waived. PER RENEE ANDERSON AT THE ABC SPA FITNESS CORPORATE OFFICE, THE ANNUAL FACILITY ENHANCEMENT FEE WAS ENACTED ON NOVEMBER 2012. ALL MEMBERS SIGNED UP BEFORE NOVEMBER 2012 SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN CHARGED ANY FACILITY ENHANCEMENT FEES. REQUEST YOUR REFUNDS THROUGH THE BBB IF YOU WERE CHARGED. IF YOU ARE MILITARY, IMMEDIATELY CONTACT JAG. I have a copy of the letter from Renee Anderson, on the spa fitness letterhead, expressly stating the facility enhancement fees were enacted in November 2012 and anyone signed up before then should not have been charged. If anyone is disputing these charges and would like a copy of this letter from Renee, let me know. I'll be happy to help end bad business practices and unethical behavior. As far as the BBB is concerned, to date they've had 21 RECENT complaints for this gym, yet still give the gym an "A" rating. According to sources, it seems as though some of the complaints against this gym that are sent to the BBB end up getting "lost." When questioned, the BBB gave an excuse of being understaffed. In comparison Omni gym, of the same size and volume, has 9 recent complaints and a "C" rating. Something very wrong is going on...perhaps, pending an investigation, this gym will have it's business license revoked, as it should.
