I think Great Clips is a great place to go if you need a quick trim. I would much rather pay around 12 bucks to get a trim here, rather than pay over 30 dollars if I go to a full scale salon. They won't blow dry or wash your hair at their base price, but they will do a good job. They will do it quick too. I like all the hair dressers that work here. They are friendly and have a great no-frills attitude. So, if its just a trim that you need, head on over here!

The Indian Garden is a good place to eat if you want to get a taste of some good Indian food, this is a great place to check out. My husband and I went here for dinner one night and we ordered their tandoori chicken that came sizziling hot to us right to our table. Then we got some of their fresh, hot indian bread with some yougurt on the side. The combination was amazing. They also have a good dessert menu that features some ultra sweet dishes. They also have lots of vegan options.

The peanut butter cup chocolate ice cream here was recently on one of Forbes' lists for one of the ten worst desserts you can eat (health wise). But despite that, I cannot get myself to stop going here. The ice cream here is just so good. What I like about this place is that it has some really unique ice cream flavors. So while I stop in at Baskin Robbins for my standard chocolate and vanilla flavors, I go here for the peanut butter cup and chocolate ice cream sorts. I believe it is good to indulge every once in a while!

This place has the best coffee in the city. I know most people flock to Starbucks but this place is the best for coffee. Their coffee is always fresh here and it is brewed ever morning. They have lots of flavored coffees here too and also iced coffees. Of course, Dunkin Donuts is really known best for its donuts. Those are great too. They are delicious and also always fresh baked and they have so many different flavors!

I attended a business conference at Stonegate Center. It was kind of at the edge of Hoffman Estates, not really Schaumburg, But despite its distance from the city, it is a really nice place to have any conference or celebration at. The facilities are beautiful, with several banquet rooms and conference halls. They can accomodate a lot of people in this place and they can arrange thier rooms to accomodate as many or as few people as you need. The service and fodo here was great too. They even had ample parking right outside for no cost.

This is like eating a subway sandwich in a pita. Except with more veggies and a few extra sauces. Basically, you go in and you order a pita and then you can ppile on whatever topings you want. They have the usual toppings here in addition to some other ones like hummus and chickpeas that are unique to this place. The food is good and it is probably healtheir than most other sandwiches because of its veggies content. Definitely worth a try at some point.

This is an okay Chuck E Cheese's location. Its pretty decently sized, but on the weekend nights especially, it gets really crowded and then it can be really claustrophobic. On those nights, you really have to wait in line to get to some of the games. The prize counters are then really really crowded as well. What I do like though is the pizza here. It is really tasty and I always enjoy it. I also like the fact that they are pretty strict about having all kids come in and leave with a chaperone. They always check for that at the front door!

This Victoria Secret store is amazing. It has been newly remodled and we went in here recenly for their grand opening. Boy was it great here! The store is huge and it is packed with lingerie, make-up, and fragrances. This particular store carries some extra lines of fragrances and make-up that most of the normal stores don't. There's a lot to be found at this store and the service is absolutely fantastic here. There are not long lines either because there are a bunch of registers in the store.

I mean, just a couple of days ago I went here to get my husband a pair of sandals. The sandals he liked were 25 dollars at DSW. We went to Kohls later on that day and found the same exact pair of sandals for 15 dollars. Besides even those shoes, most of the shoes here don't seem to be that greatly priced. I love to visit this store, especially during the holiday season. They have so many unique items here and a lot of them make very nice gifts. The assortment of goods they have come from all around the world. Their stock includes home decorations, accessories, furniture, and chocolates and gourmet food. Some of the gourmet and international choclate tins they have here make great gifts for any occassion. Its even fun just to go in and browse around this store!
