Lovely, comfy, historic hotel

The Sir Francis Drake is a lovely little hotel right in heart of Union Square. One of the only SF hotels on the official register of US Historic Hotels, it's a full service hotel old-school opulence with the sweet feel of a little boutique outfit. The rooms are all comfortabel and well-appointed with comfy beds adn thoughtful decor that at least two steps above the average hotel room. A great place for both out of towners and for locals looking for a romantic getaway without leaving the city. I think normally prices average around $250/night, but I"ve always been able to find great internet deals on Expedia.com and the like
