Came in on a budget and left with a pretty nice car! Our salesman Nate was professional and understood what we needed in a car. Within 2 minutes we were sitting in a well-running flashy looking car in my price range. Took it for 2 test drives, the motor sounded fabulous (save one squeaky belt) and the car felt sound.
I had been skeptical about buying from a dealer because I realize that dealers do have the money and resources to fix up any old junk they find at auction. West Coast proved me wrong! When I inspected this car and after 2 test drives, I was almost positive that it had not been in any major collisions or floods, and that the fluids and oil had been maintained. Car was clean, too.
On the lot, the car was quoted as-is for $XXXX.XX + tax but in the office they tacked on a documentation fee that was honestly nominal but definitely not mentioned on the lot. After some time I had to negotiate that away as it was not mentioned during the spoken price quote. Also after purchase found the odometer had recently broken, according to a recent vehicle history report. I can understand things going wrong, and the mileage is legally exempt on the title, but it's something I wish I knew before the purchase.
Appreciate the kind service and being treated like people and leveled with. Will go back when I have questions or need anything.
