I've never met a yarn shop I didn't like, and Acorn St. is no exception. Their book section is great for browsing, and their samples are very inspiring. I never leave without buying something, even just a magazine or small set of needles (and sometimes a great deal more), but I've had quite a range of service--sometimes very friendly and chatty, occasionally rather chilly. Not sure what's up with that! I may get around to taking a lace knitting class there one of these days...
