Been shopping at this store for nearly 25 years now. For the longest time, their selection and prices were unbeatable. Despite the encroachment of Best Buy and other retailers selling cds as a loss leader; Rolling Stones has held on because of their selection, and competitive prices. Almost every single domestic cd in the store can be had for $9.99 or less, because of their recurring ads/coupons in the ILLINOIS ENTERTAINER, though they do seem a little pricey when it comes to multi-disc sets and imports. The only complaint I'm having lately with the shop is that there isn't as many "new" albums coming out these days as there used to be, and it shows when you look through the racks. As cd sales are declining, it seems like the store is pushing t-shirts, video games, and incense a little harder these days. Still, this is one of my favorite haunts, and I look forward to visiting again soon.
