This is a super place to meet friends in the Heights. Nice high-ceilinged interior, panoramic view of Cedar Rd. so that you can see people walking by. Comfortable area of easy chairs in one corner. The staff are friendly and well trained as usual at Starbucks, and the coffee is good and STRONG!

I went here on a whim one day this summer when I was touring Tremont and desperately needed caffeine. I'm so glad that I did. Inside an old (built in 1881) apothecary, most of the original drawers, shelves, and fixtures remain. The sign said they used locally micro-roasted beans which really got me excited. Being summer I got an iced mocha, and it was the best I've had in Cleveland. Good espresso flavor with a little chocolate and not overly sweet. My girlfriend and I then started going every Saturday morning. She and I both agree the best cappuccino we've had in Cleveland. Their espresso didn't have as much crema as I had hoped, but great flavor. The one slightly disappointing thing was their iced tea, whichever black variety they had; not as much flavor as I usually prefer. They also have bagels, muffins, other bakery and sandwiches/soup if you desire a little food. I love going here, and whenever I desire a great cup of coffee, cappuccino, or coffee, this is where I'll go.
Pros: Best coffee/coffee drinks I've had in Cleveland, great atmosphere
Cons: Few power outlets, no internet if you really want to do work

The Mediterranean Imported Foods Inc is a small storeinside of the West Side Market in Cleveland. It has specialty foods- a wide variety of different oils, flours, spices, and cheeses among other things. Although these are good, I go there primarily for the chocolate! They have a great selection of higher end chocolate bars at reasonable prices. I love trying the different types and some are very unique (Lime Chocolate- it's actually good!) The only downside is the size- it can get quiote crowded, esecially on Saturdays.

It used to be that I could find an Arabica location at all the main places I went, but now they're few and far between. It's a great independent local company that has many things to offer, such as normal food, pastries and ice cream. Oh, and of course coffee. I don't know if they take credit now, but when i went there 5 years ago they did not, which I found out too late, but the clerk gave me everything for free! Even the food I wanted. That is super service!

They have the best ham sandwhiches and chicken in all of cleveland! I go there every other saturday night after the club around 3am and the food is still good. The service is very humble and fast. This place is open 24hrs and they always have fresh food. I really recommend this place.

What a great place to get coffee – a massive old house in the midst of University Circle! The flavored iced coffee (with a hint of Frangelico) is better than any iced coffee in the city. Walking distance from everything: Severance Hall, Art Museum, CWRU, Western Reserve Historical Society, Garden Center, etc. Highly recommended.

When the Arabica coffee house at Coventry went out years ago, a way of life seemed gone from the neighborhood. Luckily, Caribou came along to fill the void and they have far surpassed Arabica. WAY better coffee and ambience, with a fireplace going and nice comfy décor. It’s a pleasure to meet up with friends there!

This Starbucks is in a nice location for most of Cleveland Heights. Terrific corner spot in one of the city’s classic buildings. There’s a nice view of Cumberland Park. Perfect place to hang out if you’re getting an oil change done across the street at Motorcars Honda/Toyota. Smallish but with comfortable seating.
