The Cleveland Public Library has numerous branches, but the main library located on Superior is the old style big downtown library that has lots to offer readers. The adult library section has videos and CDs, which I am not really sure should be offered at libraries since video stores rent this stuff. Should the public buy popular movies to rent? I don't think so. If you like to rent movies at the library, this branch has a wide selection to chose from. The copies are in good shape if they are recent releases. If they are older releases, they can be quite worn and may not work too well--such as cuts and patches on the VHS tapes.
The children's section is the high point of this library. They have many, many books for preschool through middle school. It's a great place to take your children to pick out some books to read during the week. Parking is free and the library has their own lot.

You can take your kids and no one will shush them. This was amazing to me. At the season opening they have a family art studio where parents can give kids a break from the sensory overload. The party was fun, there are lots of "the beautiful people". We'll go again when it's quieter and can really spend some time. Love it!

I grew up attending Mt. Hermon Baptist Church and most of my family still attends this church. I have never really liked the church and when I recently went back to visit, much has not changed. The church caters more to older people. There are not that many activities for children or young adults. Also, the music is not very good.

I am very satisfied with my Marcs. It is clean, well-lighted and always has a fun variety of knicknacks to choose from. The workers are very curteous, although they tend to be overwhelmed, especially at the registers. Marc's does not take most credit cards. Their lines tend be long. Their deals are definately worth it. Quality children's books for 25 cents? A box of 30 high quality cards for $2....the place is great. I just wish the lines were shorter. If there is ever something you can't find, check for it at Marcs.

What do you do when your car is in the shop but you need a ride? You unfortunately have to call a cab. A friend recommended Ace Cab Service to me and I should definitely thank that friend. I gave Ace a call and the driver was extremely polite. Not only was he prompt but he gave me his personal business card to schedule future appointments. Finally, a cab driver who cares!

I have to say this is a great place. Dealing with the lost of my two 20 year old Siamese Cats. I was sadden so I would go here to look and donate .
The day I left to take some towels for the shelter, My husband said he only wanted a tiger or siamese cat.
Friday I saw this year old tiger I was goinng to buy,Monday if it was still there, but really wanted a Siamese
I walked in the lady told me she just got a 3 1/2 month old siamese in an hour ago, I said I take him, sight un seen, well he had a brother 3 cages down, I said I would take both. That was March 2006.
Keno and Lucky look and act so much like our other two.
My husband and I are very happy with them.

This church is filled with wonderful welcoming people. There are mostly older members and fewer activities for children which could steer some families away. The music is more country inspired, but they preach Biblical truth which is the most important part. The church is easy to find and seats about 125 people. They are located in Berea, but slightly hidden in a neighborhood.

I adopted two cats from the APL in 2003. They have been the sweetest, most loving little girls I've ever come across. The new director is doing wonderful things with the newly expanded facility. There are "cat colonies," where cats live in communal rooms with toys and perches and such instead of cages all the time. They've also started a foster program. I'm always happy to support this organization.

I love to buy my grandmother and my Pastor gifts from here for the special occasions. I like to get my grandmother religious paraphernalia and books from here. They have some nice and inexpensive gift baskets also. The prices are more reasonable than most gift shops and the gifts are unique. Its a great place to buy some nice gifts.
