I can't say I was particularly impressed with this place, but I did enjoy every buffet item I tasted. The Phoenix Chicken had a uniquely good flavor and went well with the white rice. The variety of Chinese buffet options was great, but the salad, dessert, and American options were few and unimpressive, so I would not recommend going with friends or family who do not like Chinese food.
Some of the flavors were more bland than at other Chinese buffets I've visited. At the same time, though, I discovered a few items here I'd never encountered before. The new flavors were enough to counter the less-than-stellar familiar flavors.
The service was good enough--I was greeted right away, my used plates were picked up promptly, and I got the drink I asked for. The price was great for the amount and quality of the food available. I came away satisfied.
The restroom floors could use a good scrub. The fortune cookie was disappointing ("Everyone has ambitions."). There was a well-kept aquarium near the entrance, and I wished I'd been seated near it so I could watch the colorful fish while I enjoyed my lunch.
All in all, this place offers good--but not necessarily great--food for a good price.
