Al’s is a big outdoors sports store with everything from bicycling to ping pong supplies. Their staff tends to be very knowledgeable in their departments and very eager to help you. They have nice, high quality equipment. Their clothing and shoes are expensive (although pretty typical for North Face, Columbia, Saucony, etc.). However, they usually have shoes on clearance and occasionally they will have late night sales when you can get some good deals. Al’s is kind of like a local REI.
