It is a cliche, men or women who go on and on about how difficult it was to find a salon and stylist who understood their hair, and had the skills to give them great cuts/color/style.
And it is true. Every time I have moved I have gone through some version of hair stylist purgatory, sometimes worse, until I eventually found stylist heaven.
Gustavo Briand is heaven to me. So when I moved this time, from downtown MIA to the suburbs I decided it is worth driving 30 miles each way to get my hair cut. And I am not alone, on a recent day I run into a female customer who had endured 2+ hrs of peak season traffic to get to GB from Fort Lauderdale.
The salon's location is great. Easy access from all directions on South Beach. Parking is easy and the space around it is open and airy owing to the park and bay across the street. But what's better yet, the entire team is warm, professional and friendly, from owner Gustavo, stylists Christian, Patricia, to Dragana at the front desk.
I highly recommend Gustavo Briand Studio.
