Jan 17, 2011 - Today is Tuesday. Since Saturday, a pipe burst in the laundry room at 630 in the morning and water has been leaking into my unit next door. There is no 24/7 maintenance person that you can count on. The apartment company uses a service call. Thankfully, there was a maintenance man that came in by 7AM, and closed the pipe, but he couldn't do anything to the damages that occurred to my personal belongings. He brought in these big fans that make really loud noises. He told us the fans would let the walls dry, and then he left. I wrote an email to a staff member (shannon.donaldson@aimco dot com) and their manager (jennifer.oliver@aimco dot com) that same day. On Sunday, all I got was a measly ""Are you ok?"" from Shannon. The fans are still blaring through my ears, like I was at a football game. Neighbors can see through my window and balcony doors, as the maintenance staff left it that way. Yesterday was Monday, and they still have not fixed the problem. Today is Tuesday, and I finally got a hold of their manager, who can only say she's sorry. In the meantime, the fans are blaring loudly, and I can't get any work done.
On Dec 2011, management sent out notices that there will be a new service for paying your bills that will be due on Jan 2012.

Yea, figure that out.
Do not be sold on the free 24/7 gym. It is rarely cleaned and maintained. The treadmill belts are so old, people have slipped and landed on their head.
Note that PARKING IS NOT FREE. You pay $5/month for each car you have in the lot.
All the reports about the showers are correct. Worse, they don't clean it for the new person moving in. I've only used the shower twice after I moved in, and then the tub started clogging. Maintenance cleaned out a 2 pound clump of hair that was never removed.
All the reports about creaky floors are true. You will hear your neighbors walking about if you are on the lower level.
If you're desperate, and this is the only sheet hole you can afford, at least don't pick something near a laundry unit. The mold in that place is a haven all those little critters that will eventually crawl into your space.
If little critters do not crawl into your space, mushroom will start growing there, and will eventually go into your unit, like what happened to me on July 2011.
On May 2011, the AC stopped working. It took 2 days for it to be fixed.
In the winter storm of Jan 2011, there was no snow plower in sight. The tenants had to go out and dig the snow on their own.
The kitchen is pretty nice, but why on earth would they remove the racks from the fridge? Everything has to be piled on top of the other.
This place is good for those with dogs, but it's not for those smart people who know not to get any pet. Pet owners do not clean up after their pets, since their dog sheet looks the same as the duck and goose sheet that just came from the ponds nearby.
