. The owner herself is a nut job. I met with her to try to get her to make me feel better...because you know, that is what they are supposed to do after your kids come home with unexplainable marks. She started admitting the wrongs they made at first, but then towards the end of the conversation she scolded me for missing my meeting with her daughter, the director that I totally forgot that I had at noon. She blatantly scolded me. Are you serious?! Since she couldn't properly handle my case, I called CPS and they are under investigation. Also, they should really learn how to wash a damn bottle clean with hot water. The meals are lame and unhealthy. I didn't like seeing the kids eating Oreo cookies for snack. The other daycare serves them fruit or cheese or yogurt...you know HEALTHY snacks. My kids were only at this daycare for a WEEK and they both got extremely sick. My son had a stomach virus that lasted two weeks after. He had diarrhea and vomiting...it is highly likely because they didn't wash the bottle properly. Hello! Milk gets old and can get a child sick if it's old or if any traces of old milk are left on the bottle! When I asked to see the video of my kids' day so that I can rest at ease about their scratches or marks, the staff just stood there like a deer in headlights. It's like, UH...DOES THE THING EVEN WORK?!? Only the BEST daycares would be willing to show you the video. My daughter came home with a mark on her face at the best daycare in the world and I asked to see the video. The director sat there with me and we watched her whole day. There was nothing. Only explanation was the cot she was lying on and that she was probably laying face down on the bar part of the cot. A non guilty daycare center would quickly be willing to show you the video, not stand there and act like there is no such thing as cameras. Oh I told CPS this, too...I told CPS EVERYTHING. DO NOT bring your kids to this poorly kept disease ridden staff scratching, staff child neglecting daycare! The OWNER is all about the PROFIT. NOT the kids. You can tell when a GOOD DAYCARE INVESTS their MONEY into their center. MONEY MAKES MONEY and you cannot make ample money if you are not INVESTING your money into a place. The damn owner charges $3 to swipe your card, as well when making a payment. That's when you KNOW they are a for profit only daycare. They excused the $3 charge when I shook my head and said I've never had a $3 charge when paying for my child's daycare fee. They are FAR FROM an ACADEMY. Don't be fooled by ""ACADEMY"" being in their name. I am still waiting for the $28 that they said they'd MAIL me. They want to MAIL it to me because they are a-holes like I said, FOR PROFIT. If they do not pay it, I will report them to the TDFPS. PS: Their education curriculum is nonexistent.
