I've been going to Antonio Prieto for over 5 yrs. I had great luck with the colorists in the apprentist program (discounted price!). That said, once Kristine N. began coloring my hair, I knew I was giving up the bargain prices and paying full price!
Kristine does a wonderful job on my highlights. She takes her time, and it's like a beautiful painting of hues when she's done. Kristine is a great listener, and I always end up leaving with exactly what I wanted. Not to mention, she's someone kind and interesting that you'll enjoy getting to know during your visits.
I must acknowledge that I'm super picky about hair color...let's just say there are way too many bad dye jobs in the world. I've only let a handful of people color my hair, which often necessitates travelling to other states!
To acknowledge previous comments, my one gripe is the blow dry. Can't they include a rough dry your hair before you leave?! I hate to pay so much for my color and dry my own hair. In fact, I often choose to leave with it wet much to the staff's dismay. Kristine has offered, but I'd prefer a policy change.
If you have nightmares about a bad dye job, go to Kristine N and you'll have no worries!
