Integrity. Honest and friendly. this is a wonderful roofing/solar company.
I had a roof installed by them recently and they did a great job on the installation (as far as I can tell, as I am not a roofer). BUT I can talk intellegently abou the whole experience with them. Tony was great. very personable, friendly and polite. He really impressed me with his honesty and integrity. He talked me out of a more expensive product, and he counciled me to wait on Skylights (I was planning to buy 3 (and I will later from him)). He reported that they had found dry rot in a rafter after removing the roof, and then quickly corrected that, when he found out it was just a little peeling paint (other contractors would likely have jsut replaced it, what do I know?) also when the manufacturer sent 2 differnent lots of shiingles, and the colors did not match, he had his guys rip off the unmatching shingles, and replace it with the material that matched, even though the manufacturer told him that it would ""even out in time, we can change it later anyway."" he did not settle for that and always impressed me with doing the right thing. Century is a bit more expensive than a typical roofer. but in my opinion they are WELL worth the peace of mind that comes from a company with such high standards, and does such a quality job. (the roof looks GREAT as does the new gutters and down spouts). His guys kept my property nice and clean, always orderly put things away out of sight at my house (around the side yard, nicely stacked) and treated my place with respect. all in all a great experience. if you are looking for a great person to do business with, and a Fanstic and worry free roof, talk to Tony at Century.
