Customer Service Could Use a Boost! 7/22/2010

We all know how frustrating trading/buying cars can be. This, however, was the worst I've experienced.\r \r I saw a car online at this location and drove to Bastrop. Upon arrival, I was quickly met with ""good ol' boy"" arrogance. This attitude intensified when I pointed out an issue with the vehicle's history. (They were not going to disclose this info., I had to find it.)\r \r Once this issue was cleared up, we haggled. The salesman and Chance (GM) tried some annoying intimidation tactics. After I threatened to walk 2X, a deal was made...not by the salesman I initially haggled with, thank goodness he had disappeared. Maybe working on his J.R. Ewing impersonation in the bathroom? \r \r After financing, I waited for 2 HOURS for them to ""clean and service"" the car. Within a week of taking the car home, there was an electrical issue their own mechanic stated should've been caught, discovered the oil change was not done as promised, in between/under seats were filthy...horrible detail job.\r \r They eventually took care of everything...but took many emails, faxes, phone calls and a lot of my time. (BTW, don't annoy the secretary by asking for the correct fax #). You will get the fax #...served up with a side of bitchiness.\r \r The Finance Dept. was great to me, very informative. This was the only positive portion of this dealership. \r \r \r \r \r \r Pros: Finance Dept. was helpful Cons: poor customer service, generally careless attitude more
