Not only have I personally fallen prey to this shyster, but many friends that I have misguidedly referred to him over the years have too! David is a s-m-o-o-t-h talker and draws you into believing that he will do the work cheaper than anyone else in Richmond. He also sometimes offers to give you a ""discount"" on the work he does. DON'T buy it! He just marks up his hours of labor and parts fees -- then gives you a ""discount"" .... HA! Further, he makes a habit of standing in the shop reception area and goes over your itemized bill ... ALOUD -- for all to hear! Then he makes a big deal of how hard he's supposedly worked on your vehicle and makes it seem that he is doing you a ""favor"" .... when all the time the work could/would have been done cheaper at another shop! Take your car to Sam Haboush or Twin Star .... don't even slow down to stop by David Word Automotive!
