We took our car in for a discount oil change and to have a free brake check. There was a small vibration in the steering wheel while driving. They called and told us that the steering wheel column was broken and it would cost more than $700 to replace it. \r

We said we wouldn't do it. We picked up the car; they charged us $40 for the basic oil change. We took the car to Sears, didn't say a word about Byrd's assessment. They said there were some lose bolts on the steering column. They tightened it for free. No more shaking!\r

We called, didn?t get any help or even a refund on the over priced oil change. We finally lodged a complaint with AAA, had paperwork to prove it all, but the AAA quality staff totally ignored us after the first two calls. Maybe Byrd bribed them. Total crooks. Let me save you the anguish ? avoid them.
