You get what you pay for...or do you? 4/12/2010

If you are reading these reviews, you are probably noticing a trend. I've had very similar encounters with Ed's Marine Superstore, too. Just be warned: they will bundle year-old, low-end motors with their packages, crappy trailers, tell you a bunch of stuff they are adding in, and quote you an ""out-the-door"" price that is much lower than you will pay to get out the door. Simply put, remember that ""out-the-door"" means out the door everywhere, but at Ed's. There, out the door means plus tax. So if you are happy paying more than you are quoted 24-hours ago, if you are happy with an inferior trailer, and if you are happy with a motor that is 1-2 years old, though new, and willing to accept hundreds in depreciation the second these cheap, old motors touch the water, and if you are happy with the wrong prop, then please - by from Ed (well, from Marc the ower or David his ""salesman""). I reccomend that you account for these issues when you receive a price from them...and be warned that that price will change. Pros: Price Cons: Everything else more
