I've purchased a lot of vehicles over the last 25 years. Most of those have been new and unfortunately my experiences with the salespeople and dealerships overall have been less than satisfying (I'm putting this mildly).
I consulted CarsDirect dot com and was put in touch with a local dealer, but I chose not to work with them because of their low ratings, both here on CitySearch and elsewhere. A little more research led me to the very highly-rated Dick Hannah VW in Vancouver so I contacted them and arranged for a visit.
When I arrived at Dick Hannah VW I was greeted by James who is one of the most knowledgeable, low-key, honest and hard-working people I've ever had the pleasure to meet.
And it seems that he's not an anomaly at Dick Hannah VW. While I was there I interacted with a number of other employees who all treated me with respect, kindness and honesty.
Sunny days in the Pacific NW are rare this time of year so I longed to be outside on the day of my visit, but I never regretted my choice to spend it with James and the other members of the Dick Hannah ""family"" (this is really what it felt like)!
