I ordered a weddig cake for our 50th wedding anniversary, the cake looked fine except the live yellow roses were turning brown when my daughter picked it up, 5 guests pointed out that we should complain about cake having old and dying roses. If I had picked up cake I would have not paid for it or taken it with dying roses. My daughter did not know what to do and hoped I would not notice. The site for party was decorated with dozens of live yellow roses, outside on 12 tables in vases, they were still beautiful 3 days later. Old roses that were dying was used on cake, I was shocked. The the different parts of cake were suppose to be one layer of chocolate and one layer of white. I have the picture Rosie drew showing that in front of me as I write. Chocolate cake was fine, white cake was very dry. bottom of cake was solid white, middle of cake was solid chocolate and top was white. About one half of cake was left that i threw away on spot I was so disappointed with it. I called a few days after the party which was on October 17th and told who every answered the phone how I felt and to please pass it on to Rosie. I have heard nothing since. Cake was 350.00 dollars. I could not understand her name after asking 3 times but she said everyone was to busy at time to talk on phone.
