I signed a credit card slip with the tips included. The following day, the restaurant charged me again for the amount of the tips. This appeared on my credit card statement as a separate transaction. I only authorized a single transaction when I paid for the meal (food and tips) the day before. However, the restaurant decided to use my credit card NUMBER(since they do not have the credit card anymore) to obtain additional credit the following day. Using my credit card WITHOUT my authorization for the second time is considered fraudulent activity. So, WATCH OUT.
