We had a older dog (age 18 years old). He wouldn't eat, drink, could not walk, and could not hold his bowels or urin. We were new to the area so I called around to vets. Many of them wanted to to exploritory surgery or put the dog on iv and see what happes. My family knew what had to be done, which was very hard for us. Went went to see Dr. V, his staff was great they put us in a private room and let us spend time with our Baretta. After visit hours Dr. V put him to sleep., Baretta looked at us and smiled as he closed hs eyes. The staff was great. We had him cremated. (Dr. V went over everything with us.) We told him if we ever get another dog we would bring him to hi,.
Well the next day we got Comet. We only had Comet 2 days when he got sick, we brought him to Dr. V. After he examened him , he said he had strep (we got him from Northshore). Dr. V savd his life. For the past 16 years Comet has been seeing Dr. V. I would never trust another vet. We also board him there when we go away. Dr. V treats our dog like his family.
Dr V and his staff are the best. I would never trust another vet or staff with my dog.

Dr. Flynn is a good dentist. His office is located at the intersection of Bard Ave. and Clove Rd., which is convenient is location and parking. He has a large and busy practice, and it can be difficult at times to obtain an appointment (sometimes you have to wait a month or so), but he is worth the wait. His work is quick and relatively painless, All of his patients that I have spoken to hold him in high esteem.

I have had a long history of bulging discs, shoulder, knee and back problems. I am a professional sports player and I was recommended to A.R.I. in Staten Island four times in the past eighteen months.
Unfortunately as someone who requires MRI's on more than a regular basis :( , I have been fortunate enough to frequent this establishment. The wait was nonexistent; the staff was warm and friendly; the MRI center was impeccably clean, and most importantly, I now know the radiologist is really good.

They make getting cavities filled a breeze. I am no longer afraid of going to the dentist, they are so friendly and accomodating. The small size of the place and the fact that its located in a private house makes it comfortable. I've been going here for many years, and they are highly reliable, good people!

I recently had glasses made and contacts fitted at Specs for Less on Veterans Road. My experience there was an excellent one. From Lauren who helped me pick frames and Dr. Marshall who patiently worked with me to find the right bi-focal contact lens prescription for me. There appointment times were kept and the professionalism was outstanding. Thanks to Dr. Marshall I can see well again with my contacts without needing reading glasses and I have frames that work perfectly for me. Thank you for your patience!

This practice is very popular as is obvious by the fact that the waiting room is always packed. Dr. Maddela is a fantastic doctor. I think she's the best general practioner on Staten Island. I am very picky about doctors. I find her to be very knowledgeable and thorough. She doesn't try to rush you out of the office. That's probably why there is usually an hour wait time or more to see her. It's very annoying. I used to think it was worth the wait but I'm not so sure anymore. I don't dread getting sick because of how I'll feel. I dread getting sick because if it's that bad, it will be made worse by waiting all that time to see her.

This is connected with S. I hospital. Whatever mri, catscan, ultrasound, mammography you need they do it here. The place was recently redone in stylish decor. They always have a television on so you can see the news or other show. There is noone there to give you results immediately and thus waiting is the worst part about going here. You can sometimes wait up to 5 business days for results.
