Safari Golf and Batting is a great place to spend a summer night. Go golfing with the family, head over to the batting cages (don't forget to grab a bat and helmet!), go for a round of go-karts, even ride on the himalaya! There is so much you can do in this small park but it's all in fun! The go-karts were my favorite. As a 240 pound lady, I didn't think I'd be able to fit but I had no problem getting in and out of the single seat. They also have double seats for larger guests or for those who want to ride with a friend. The golf course is tons of fun also. The few rides that they have will make you want to go on for more! Don't forget those batting cages! They have softballs and baseballs going at any speed you'd like. And of course, the price is right! After that, head next door for some ices or even some pizza! Have fun!

Mandolin Bros. is THE place for serious musicians. Their selection of stringed instruments (many that are rare) is second to none. The staff is friendly and extremely knowledgeable about their trade. The technicians are experts in repairing stringed instruments. I brought my guitar in for a minor repair years ago, and they did not even charge me for it! I highly recommend this store. If you are in the market to buy a new instrument, or to have one repaired, this is THE place to go.

the Staten Island Yankees are a lot of fun to watch. it is nice to have a minor league team on Staten Island. the ballpark in St. George has great views of the city and is a really nice stadium. the ticket prices and concession stand prices are much better than the prices at Yankee Stadium in the Bronx. I highly recommend watching a game here and taking the kids!

This store is great for music lovers. They've got CD's, cassettes, and records to choose from, as well as DVD movies and other media. Their selection ranges from rock to rap and they specialize in oldies collections and albums. The staff will be happy to order a specific title if it is available, and their prices tend to be reasonable.

There used to be a lot more places to Bowl on Staten Island, but the last best place left is Rab's Country Lanes. Great tournaments, leagues, school leagues, and COSMIC BOWLING (bowling with the blacklights on and the disco going)......who doesnt like bowling anyway? great with a few freinds, a few kids, or the cosmic bowling is perfect for a cheesy date.

There is not much you can still get for free in New York City, but you still ride the Staten Island Ferry without reaching into your pocket.
They ferry leaves from the southern tip of Manhattan, at South Ferry, and arrives at Staten Island about 20 minutes later. You get great views of Manhattan, the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island, Brooklyn, New Jersey, and Governor's Island.

Showplace is modern, clean and the afternoon staff is great. I went bowling, played video games and ate at the pizzeria on Aug 29 '07.
The food was great and the bowling alley was neatly kept. Scores are kept electronically and bumpers can be used for one or all players, they go up and down for the requested players.
Costs are what I expect for a place like Showplace, you want cheap go to the other alleys where its old and smells. They have so many deals on different days, one to fit all bugdets......I am a new customer of Showplace !!

Werner Oberbeck provides piano tuning and repairing at affordable prices. I always have my piano tuned by Mr. Oberbeck because he is incredibly thorough. He tunes pianos perfectly and is able to restring and do repairs as well. His work is fabulous. He takes great pride and care in his work. I would not trust just anyone to repair my piano. If you want top notch piano repairs, I highly recommend Mr. Oberbeck.
