This restaurant has excellent Italian food although it is a bit pricey. You still get your money's worth, though. I went there on Valentine's day and the restaurant was nicely decorating, setting a good ambiance. It's always busy, so it gets a bit noisy.

They came when they said -on a Sunday-no less- I had no heat and they came within 2 hours. The tech spent time with us after he fixed it to explain what parts were what and how it all worked. It was very reasonable.

Being from Manhattan, it's perhaps unexpected that I'd think a Staten Island restaurant the BEST in NYC, but, after just one meal (4 years ago) I was convinced - and, many vists later, I still am. The food is matched by the fine & ever friendly service. The setting, Richmondtown Restoration couldn't be nicer (it's like a "rural excape" from The City).Even the tiny, "cozy", bar is a place I think of fondly. My only suggestion for improvement is that The Parsonage should add NEW YORK wines (Long Island/The Finger Lakes/The Hudon Valley...) to its wine-list -that would make the place near perfect!

I have a 7 month old Bichon Frise. She is so afriad whenever we go out, I was so nervous about bring her to get groomed, but the Salon Manager there (Wendy) is amazing. From the moment I walked in, Mia (my puppy) was wagging her tail and kissing Wendy's face. She did exactly what I told her to do and when she handed Mia over to me she was still wagging her tail so happily. Everytime we go into the store, Mia drags me towards the salon. They are wonderful there!
Pros: Clean, friendly associates
Cons: NONE!!

I've been a client of Bay Street Animal Hospital since they opened. My animals get the best care without question. I drive from the other side of the Island past 4 or 5 other vets to work with Drs. Cohen and
Cavallaro because I know my dogs and cats will be cared for professionally and lovingly. These two doctors will always tell me the truth about their care and not influence me hoping to make more money--the animals are the most important thing. When you love animals as much as I do, you want their medical care the absolute best and that's what they get at Bay Street.
Pros: Good parking, safe area, comfortable waiting room, appts on time, cheerfull staff
Cons: far away, otherwise none!

This small restaurant/bar is located right beside the SI train station in Oakwood Heights. The food is EXCELLENT, the owner himself makes rounds to check on each table, the price is very reasonable and the service is great. I have never had a bad experience in this establishment and would recommend it to anyone!
We have also used Canlon's for catering for parties - and have had wonderful experiences every time!
