China Gate wasn't aggressively bad, but we were disappointed. Especially after reading the good reviews here and choosing to go. The first things we noticed were the lack of Asians actually eating in the restaurant, no chopsticks anywhere, and a bottle of ketchup on the table. All bad signs. The tea was very thin, and the food was just okay. Maybe we ordered the wrong thing, I dont know.. but the ""spicy"" kung pao beef was hardly that. I recommend not ordering the combos ($12-16 per person). I saw some other people with much larger portions that looked much tastier than what we ordered. Those are $7.95per dish at dinner, $6.95per dish at lunch. The service was excellent though. No complaints there at all.
Pros: Great service.
Cons: Bland. Bad Combos.
