I would recommend Jay and Adrianne over any jeweler or store anywhere. I am a graduate student with a very limited budget and was searching for an engagement ring for my girlfriend. The only thing that I was sure of was that I did NOT want to buy from a chain or large, impersonal store. I found Jay via CitySearch and somehow immediately knew that he was exactly what I was looking for. He has no jewelry in stock, so I was never pressured to buy ANYTHING. He never once asked me my budget until I finally offered it up to him. Before we even talked about rings, Jay wanted to sit and hear about me and my girlfriend...how we met, what she likes, etc. Knowing nothing about jewelry, Jay sat with me for over an hour and taught me the ""ins"" and outs"" of buying jewelry and exactly what I should look for in a diamond. He was helpful and I always felt comfortable and confident that I was able to choose what I wanted, as opposed to some jeweler telling me what I should buy. I am confident that if I would have walked in with a $500 budget, Jay would have worked hours trying to find me the perfect ring to fit my budget. If you're looking for special, custom-made jewelry for any budget, there is no one more fitting than Jay and his wife.
