Avoid Toni&Guy Austin 10/16/2008

I worked at two of the salons and was treated poorly. I was pushed to sell products which is fine but I am not about to bully people into buying things which I saw the owners do. Their products are good but they aren't the best products for everyone. I see it as a huge turn off to go to a salon and be bullied into buying products. I was a client before I worked there and I fortunately was never bullied into buying product. I was treated so poorly as an employee and so are all of the stylists. I know longer work because I was tired of standing up for myself and getting nowhere. The partners of toni and guy in austin do not care about anyone but themselves and their pocket books. I would not recommend going there if you want to relax. I especially suggest you stay away from Lakeline and if you do go there absolutely do not go see jamel. He only really spends 15 minutes with his clients and it's like an assembly line to go to his chair afterwards you will be bombarded with all kinds of product and pushed to buy it. Those that train closely with him do the same thing with the product except they tend to spend quality time with their clients. I am not going to go to a slon and get treated like I am a product on an assembly line and then be bullied to buy product when I am paying enough for the haircut. Oh and if anyone was Cig's client and they need to find him post something on here for me and I will help you get in touch with him. Pros: There are a few good hairstylists and colorists Cons: Poor customer service, owners out for #1 at the expense of everyone more
