I agree with the above comment. It is NOT safe at night. The rent is cheap but you end up paying the price in ways of your personal safety. People are always working on cars out in the parking lot and looks like a junkyard when they are. I also do not feel safe at night and having to walk all the way across the parking lot because the parking lot is not assigned and I have to park on the opposite end of the complex. This is my first apartment and also my first time living with my fiance and this was not the place for her to be. I purchased a firearm because of all the crimes that have happened in this area just in case the unthinkable happens. Like the murder behind the DQ for instance. And these wannabe thug/gangster/machismo characters. If you live alone and have a concealed carry license then this place is perfect. But if you expect to come home late after a movie with your girl, dont even think about it. You have to be home early (by 6 pm) to have a spot to park and for your own personal safety. I have heard gunshots various times throughout my 6 month stay here and the manager says that they are mexican firecrackers and I know what a gunshot sounds like and thats what it was.
