C?est Bon Cajun Cuisine is the worst dining experience I have had in recent years. I will explain in detail. In honor of my grandmother?s 95th birthday we invited 40 people to eat at this restaurant. Guests arrived at 6 PM and the dinner honoree arrived at about 7:00 PM. Mind you that we were there for over an hour before the crew waiting on us came over with the game plan for the evening. We ordered at about 7:30. By 8:30 when we had not received so much as a glass of water, concerns arose. At 8:45 PM I went to ask the staff if it was at all possible to get the 95 year old women her meal. Dinner began being served at about 8:45 PM. The steaks were not made to order. We could have requested Well, Medium or Rare?it was all the same. We did not complain. It then took about an hour to get the check. Once again, a 95 year old woman is waiting in the wings while all this is going on. Our checks were incorrect, paid bar tabs were added dinner bills and the staff was so confused we did not argue. We wanted to pay whatever we could to vacate this place that we would have paid anything. There real kicker was a 17% ($57.00 tab?$67.00 after gratuity?you do the math) gratuity charge added to the bill. If left to me, we should have paid half price for the service we received and a $1.00 tip out of sheer kindness. All in all, I have never had a dinning experience of this nature. My recommendation is to consider Waffle House before dropping a dime in this establishment. I will never go back. Never is a strong word but that is how I feel. Avoid this restaurant at all cost?because you will be the one paying the cost.
