Nhu Y...name sounds nice, but gosh, I will never go there again. The setting looked nice when we got there. One waiter seated us nicely and politely. Then another waiter came out to take the order, and he didn't sound very pleasant. At first, I just said to myself, they are busy now, so he's probably just stressing with all the orders. Then when he took the food out later, he kind of set it down hard. I was afraid that the fish sauce or the food would spill on me. My boyfriend put the rice in the bowl for me first, then while he was getting his, I saw something moving. At first, I thought it was just my eyes. I looked closely at the rice, and it was a tiny white worm-like thing moving around. I asked my boyfriend if it was true. He looked at it and asked the waiter to replace the rice. We ordered some soup and the water base tasted kind of sandy. Not sure if the water is not clean or if the seafood in it was not washed clean. At first, I thought he was taking me to a nice pretty place with some good vietnamese food, but starting when the food came out until we left, I couldn't smile at all. I wanted us to have some nice time together that night, but the food just spoiled everything. My boyfriend was going to take me to his parents' home to visit after that, but I didn't feel good. I told my boyfriend I wasn't feeling well, so he took me home. When I got out of the car, I just threw up and my stomach didn't feel well all night. I think I threw up like 4 times that night. At least he knew I was sick and couldn't visit his parents instead of thinking that I didn't want to go visit his parents. I think this restaurant has some good choices for food, but there is definitely something wrong with the kitchen. It needs some major cleaning up I think.
