I ate at Zen Palate with a group of 5 for my sister's birthday. We were seated as soon as most of our party had arrived, and they made sure to send the 5th person in the right direction to meet us. We ate in the upstairs 'fine dining' room, which, it should be noted, has a different menu than is listed on the website (that is the 'cafe' menu'). The dining room was quite a bit more expensive, with most entrees between $20-$25 or so. Food was delicious, but there are very few options for people who do like like vegetarian food. Our server was very nice, but service was slow, and when the kitchen forgot to leave the sauce on the side for one dish, it took about 30 minutes for it to come back out. We had no choice but to eat while my sister waited for hers and picked at our dishes. The desserts we tried were amazing-- a delicious chocolate peanut butter cloud, or a rich dark chocolate lava cake. Don't go in a rush or with a meat and potatoes guy, but otherwise very good experience.
Pros: Delicious vegetarian dishes
Cons: Slow service, not many options for picky eaters
