ESB Mortgage, located inside the hometown Ennis State Bank, is a great place to get a mortgage. They do refinances, constructions, and purchases. I have found the staff to be friendly and efficient. A $500 application fee is required up front, but it is refundable if your loan is not approved. The ladies in the office are willing to answer all of your questions with a smile. I was pleased with my experience here.
