I have been an annual passholder for ten years and have always loved Disneyland. Yet, I am not sure the fun is worth the prices these days. Sure, a pass pays off after just a few visits, but overall, the prices are ridiculous. Sometimes I find the staff to be non-accomadating, but overall they are friendly. Summer is always crowded, no matter what day you choose to go. Some days throughout the off-peek months are fabulous, giving you the ability to just walk through the lines. FastPass and Single Rider lines are the way to go otherwise! I must recommend the newly reopened Space Mountain above all else, because those Imagineers are geniuses!
