As a Chinese-American, I had high hopes for my first meal at Susanna Foo. What a disappointment! The cuisine should absolutely not be billed as Chinese food or even Asian food. French/Fusion with most of the emphasis on French would be more accurate. Although not bad, the food was ok+, and it was not even remotely authentic Chinese food. For example, ""risotto"" was just a ball of short grain rice, the kind ubiquitous with Korean and Japanese cuisine. For some reason, the chef saw fit to heavily sweeten the rice, creating a bizarre flavor. Finally, thank God I did not have to pay for this meal. The prices far exceed the actual level of the food, with very small portions to boot.
Pros: nice decor, pretty good service
Cons: NOT Asian cuisine, expensive, small portions
