I don't care if it's a greasy spoon, the food is a cut above what you expect to find (I promise, I'm a food snob) and the service is curt/efficient but friendly. I love the Jackie G. The neptune's mess ain't bad either. But really, the reason I love this place is because the first weekend I was in LA I ran into two old friends there, and knew that Silverlake was going to be my home - I haven't lived farther than 5 blocks from the place since.
