My in-laws were in town and we decided on Texas Roadhouse for dinner because they had great experiences at the Denver and CA locations. We were all disappointed. I assume that if they can cook a cow they can cook a chicken. Not so at this restaurant. I ordered the grilled barbecue chicken and received what appeared to be (at least in taste and texture) the sole of a shoe slathered in BBQ sauce. It was burnt and very dry. My dinner companions had better success with the steak and pork, but we all commented on the small portions of the side dishes. I had always heard that they did things BIG in Texas. I was glad Dad was paying for the meal. We don't plan on going back to this Texas Roadhouse location, though we may try the one in CA
