I took my family of seven and It was quite a chunk of money.I thought The charge was okay for 6 and over..TOO High for under 6yrs...Come on now..really.Also Free tubes should be floating in the lazy river as in most water parks we have visited...I spent 120.00 [ had a cooler with soft drinks] $8.00 which is cool but a pretty expensive 3 hrs.and they asked us to turn our tubes in @ 5:30...Go figure... Hope to see some improvements for next yr...Had fun but too much money...We can only go once in the summer too bad,huh..

The Rawls course is the best course available in Lubbock. They have recently had Pro Golf Tournaments. This course provides a challenge, but not enough of a deterrent for beginners. They offer a nice lush green with many challenges. They are very expensive, and in my humble opinion, it is better to save your money and go to Dallas. Also, you will need a green time prior to going.

Texas Elite Gymnastics Academy, or TEGA, is a decent small town gym. I think they have a good set of coaches for the little ones (under 4), but they have had a lot of turnover lately. I think that the mom and tot (or dad and tot) classes are really great for the children to work on their gross motor skills.

TEGA offers an after school program for many of the local schools. They have a pool and gymnastics area. They also offer dance lessons and cheer instruction. They have a great front area staff that are always helpful. If you ever have questions, the go out of the way to answer them!

The Reese course offers golfers a beautiful Lubbock view. The grass is kept as well as Lubbock climate will allow. The course is not that difficult and does not seem to be the Par that they suggest at each hole. Also, this course is not that expensive for greens fees depending on what time of year you go. Plan on making reservations, but you can most likely get a green time if you just show up! Great beginners course.
