Years ago (I have no idea how many years) there was what must have been a traditional American diner on Lake City. A narrow, deep room lined with plush booths, while midway down stood a counter to pay your bill, with a hole in the wall for the waitress to shout orders back to the kitchen. One day that diner shut down, but later (I have no idea how much later) someone turned it into Cafe Long. They decided not to change much. The booths remain; under the glass on the tables lie pictures depicting items from the menu. I like to stop in and order pho from the friendly people who work here.
