I live very close to Cunningham Park. There still is the NYC tennis courts I used to go when I was in high school. By the courts, is the park. The park is located at Francis Lewis Blv. and 73rd Ave. There's parking all along the side of the park and across the streets. You always find various local teams using the park. Every summer there is a music event. This summer the NY Philharmonic held a concert in mid July for free! It's a great opportunity to bring the kids for a day of fun and music. Who doesn't want to catch the NY Philharmonic Concert for free and fireworks at night?

I won a gift certificate and wanted to find a place near my office. I chose Beauty & Wellness center and my experience was wonderful! I was there for an Acne-less facial. You get a room for yourself with calming, soothing water sounds and dim lights. I found it so relaxing that I fell asleep during the wait for my mask to dry. The spa lady was extremely pleasant and very very nice. You always got the feeling you were welcome there. When I was done after an hour, I was told I could come back again for free to get certain areas of my acne looked at. Needless to say I will be back for another facial!

I just started ordering from this place when I heard the lines to this place was way out there. I usually call by phone. I had a chicken Burrito with all the fixings and it was huge! I chose to get mild salsa but did end up with a little heartburn afterwards. For the price it is a pretty good deal. I paid about $6.75 for my burrito. If you want addt'l fixings it will cost you more. They have other selections other than chicken, like carnitas, barbacoa, steak and vegetarian.

I found out about this place years ago. A college friend took me there and I have been going there ever since. The ambiance is good sometimes noisy. If you ordered from the front desk don't expect to get a seat at a table. Get a table first and enjoy the dessert and cappucino then order for take home. I think it is a policy of theirs that way you need to order from their menu and not eat from your pastry box. I love the fruit tarts. I usually get 2 lbs at a time. Over the years the price is increasing. I used to pay $7.50 per lb now it is $10.50 per lb of miniature pastries. Don't expect each tart to be perfect but the taste can't be beat.

Our office has ordered from this place for months. It definitely has dishes that you would find from gourmet Chinese restaurants, from the Chef's specialties of Peking Duck to Grand Marnier Shrimp. The last is my favorite! Grand Marnier Shrimp is lightly fried jumbo shrimp served with with Mayonnaise and broccoli. They also have lunch specials where you can get just about anuthing from chicken and broccoli to Chow Fun. Both the beef and chicken Chow Fun are very tasty dishes. But very oily. Their vegetables are fresh and you can see and taste the difference. Drop on by!

Our office has ordered from Tandoori Club for months now. Although I am not a big fan of Indian food, the Kadai Chicken is extremely good. I usually get that with Basmati rice and a side order of Naan. This is my favorite good at the place. Another time I ordered chicken curry and it was good. Then I placed the same order of curry and when I got I didn't like it much since it was too salty. Since then I am sticking with Kadai Chicken. Btw, my friend loves the Kadai Lamb. I had that once and really liked it!

I tried this place on a co-worker's recommendation and it is above average. I ordered the lunch specials; I got the eel and tuna sushi that comes with rice and miso soup in the lunch box. Anyone who is familiar with eel knows good eel is hard to find. You can find inexpensive frozen eel at your local Asian supermarkets, but their eel was better than average. The tuna sushi is just average. We also had a fried potato stuffing which was very good and for dessert some sweet beans and fruit. My co-worker used to order from there at her previous job and everyone loved it. However, based on our food last week, she noticed the food was prepared differently (possible new chef).

I heard alot about this place before I came. How great it is. I have eaten there several times and it isn't bad. For guys who eat alot this may not be the place for you. For me it was fine. The food seems very healthy, with brown rice and veggie ham. I ordered the Shredded Melody from the Prefixe Menu and it pretty good. My friend ordered a pasta dish which was not filling for him. They have other locations, maybe the union sq. location isn't the best one.

Just had dinner here last night with a friend. I loved all the different little appetizer dishes. I ordered the Bim Bap with shredded beef with stone plating. My friend ordered the short rib soup and she said it was delicious. No complaints, it was very very good. Their menu also includes Japanese choices. Yes my meal was a bit expensive, but I would go again and try other dishes. You get fast service too!

I frequent the Fresh Meadows library several times a month and it is the cool place to be! The place is clean, there are multiple computers, the staff and librarians are hard-working and never had any problems. I can usually find a good collection of DVD movies and the latest released books! I can also requests books online and pick it up at my branch. The people who frequent this place are very nice and friendly. The librarian is also very helpful. There is a little parking lot but you can also park in the huge mall behind and walk there.
