This is the only zoo I know of for around this area and it is not too bad. It seemed so much bigger when we used to go on field trips here. Now I take my kids and they have a great time and while it may seem short to you, for a kid it is just enough to keep them interested and not get bored or too tired. The fee to get in is what I would say average. You can get a little key to put in the machines for your kids to lean more. There gift shop is really cute, but like most girft shops it is expensive. And there snack bar could use a face lift. There is a petting zoo of barn animals and you can feed the ducks. The alligators seem to be my daughters favorites. All in all it is a good zoo for the area.
