Scavenge helps me out every year for Halloween in Isla Vista. Cause what would Halloween in IV be without girls wearing fishnet stockings. They are stocked full of clothes for men and women. They have tons of novelty items, shoes, costumes, party supplies and a bunch of other random stuff. If you're searching for something a little different I would recommend giving this store a try and see what you can find. And at the front of the store they have a photo booth which costs just a few bucks. Sometimes, my friends and I have stopped in just to get some fun photo booth pictures.

I had just purchased a couple of pair of jeans from a well known jean store here in SB. I took them to Tony and he suggested that since they were brand new that I should wash them first as this could changes the length just slightly.
I even went back a few weeks later with a pair of jeans I had taken to another tailor here in SB that was very highly recommened to me because I wasn't happy with the color of thread they had used. When I put on the jeans for Tony to measure; turns out the right leg was 1/2 inch longer than the right leg.
Not only had the previous tailor done a sloppy job, but they charge more for hemming jeans.

The Men's Wearhouse is awesome. When I started a new career, I had to build a whole new wardrobe. This place let me do it without breaking the bank. Obviously, I still spent a lot of money, but it was far less than what I would have spent elsewhere. They have great sale racks. Also, the people there are very knowledgeable. It's not as if they just put some guy in there who knows nothing about suits or what is acceptable or not. You can ask anybody there what you are supposed to wear with what else or vice versa and they will know. They are also really good at making recommendations for things that look really well together. They must earn commission because they are pretty pushy about trying to make the sale and have you buy extra items. Overall, I had a wonderful experience. Another thing is that they have great little "perks". For example, you can have your suit pressed at any Men's Wearhouse free of charge. So, if you bought your suit from them and travel out of town, just find a Men's Wearhouse and they will press it for free. Also, anything that they tailor once, they will do again for free. So, if they take the waist in for you and the you gain a little weight, they will let it out for free.

Do you have a special occasion you want to celebrate? Come to the Four Season Biltmore in beautiful Santa Barbara and enjoy Sunday brunch at the Patio Restaurant. If you sit outside, you will enjoy the view of Butterfly Beach from your seat. Brunch is a buffet and offers anything from an array of salads, sushi, fruit, main courses, omlette/waffle bar to the dessert bar. It even has a children's bar with foods children will eat. Don't let the name fool you, this place is great! Where else in Santa Barbara can you wash your clothes and get a cup of good coffee why your delicates dry. The downtown De La Vina location has a convenient parking lot and there are always washers and dryers available.

Lee's Tailoring wins my vote for one of the best tailor shops in Santa Barbara. They seem to always be open (including Saturday and Sunday). They do near to perfect work and always just to my specifications. They have altered some pieces to fit like fine expensive tailored pieces. Fast turn around time too.
