Water Country is a theme park with all water rides. There are a lot of different types of water slides and the obligatory river tube ride and a large wave pool. The wave pool ends up being a lot of fun. The biggest complaint I would have about the place is that it seems like it was built in the middle of a field and there is little to no shade. Bring sunscreen. The concrete also gets very hot, so bring water shoes of some sort. The park kind of sprawls out, so it is a long walk from one end to the other. Especially with no water shoes.

They are the best bowling alley on the seacoast. They have a great Youth league, They coaches are amazing. They will help the kids and even have them come in for practice until they get it right. The game room is very good. The grille next door has great food. I love their popcorn chicken. The staff is great. plus you can find free game passes in a lot of different places.

This is a great store to find new and used CDs of any artists. If you are purchasing a new CD, they will let you know if they have the same thing used or not. They are always playing a CD while you are in the store, and if you like it, they will find that CD for you. The only thing I dislike about this store is that the new CDs are a little more expensive than I like, but what CDs aren't these days? They carry all genres including local bands.

This is what all music stores should strive to be. I was amazed by the selection of discs, as well as the variety of genres represented. The staff was very well informed. The prices were amazing, below what I expect to pay online in most cases. The used section was well stocked. The used video games were a little pricely, some were double what i would pay at the mall. But the fact that they still sell vinyl is a sure winner. A must see for anyone who wants to find music not in the top 20.

This brewery still offers factory tours despite its growth in recent years. The hours very depending upon the season, but the price is the same. Only a buck. They used to have a coupon for a free tour, but I can't find it any more. Either way, if you are of drinking age, and want to try some beers, you can't lose. The tour took about 45 minutes, including our tastings. We were the only ones on the tour on a Sunday. The weekends means that the factory is not working, but for half of the tour, you can't see anything anyways since it all takes place in the vats. It's amazing how few people are needed to actually make large amounts of beer. If you have kids, or don't care about beer, you may not enjoy the tour, At the end, you do get several free samples in a 5 oz glass that it yours to keep. (The samples are only about 3 oz) I don't know how many samples one usually gets, but since we were the only ones on the tour, we just were taken to the bar and given a full sampler. It consisted of all 6 beers on tap. Well worth the one dollar it would cost.

Good place to learn all sorts of dance. They have classed for ballroom dancind swing dancing line dancing. You can go either alone or with your partner located in downtown portsmouth a very convininet location. the fees for the dance courses are pretty nominal. dance instructors are very professional and friendly. i really liked the swing dancing class that i took. good place to learn these different forms of dances.
