My husband and I heard this was a wonderful place and traveled from Cape Cod for an anniversary week end to Portsmouth. Upon our arrival we were greeting in a friendly manner and seated in a nice booth. Our wonderful waitress (Ann, we just loved her) never missed a beat. We did not have to ask for one thing. The food was the best I believe I have ever had. When we got our bill we were very pleased that all of that wonderful experience was very reasonable. We talked with the owner on the way out and let him know how impressed we were. Would highly recommend this to anyone and request Ann for your waitress.

I love this place! It's well designed to be open and airy, although it can get backed at busy times. The food there is great and the beer is even better. I was surprised at the variety of food they offered. Rather up scale and very well done but the prices are very reasonable. I also recommend stopping in the gift shop next door, lots of fun t-shirts and that sort of thing. Two thumbs up for sure!

if you are looking for a full day of shopping fun this is the place for you. i come here with the kids and its a great place. most of the people that work here are very nice and helpful. they also have just about any store you could want. i love it here and keep going back.

This is a great cleaners - they also wash clothes by the pound which ends up costing only slightly more then if you feed the machines all those quarters at the laundry mat! The also have coupons every few weeks or so which is an extra added bonus. Good friendly service with a great price attached.

It's a little out of the way for us, but since the service is great (and so is the price!), we bring our vehicles to Portsmouth Ford. The customer service people are great, and they will work around your schedule! You don't see that very much anymore, that's for sure! They will always tell you what needs to be done now, and will need to be done soon BEFORE fixing it and charging you an arm and a leg to fix it. Definitely worth the drive for us! Plus, it makes for a nice trip to the seacoast!

As far as pizza goes, there is only one real pizzeria in the portsmouth area. Ken has brought a taste of new york to our fine New England town and his pies are better than anything North of Boston. Ken combines a sweet sauce and crispy thin crust with a great blend of cheeses. Everything else in the greater portsmouth area is ketchup and cheese on bread. As someone who currently lives in New York, it is nice to go home and visit my family and still be able to enjoy authentice New York style pizza.

I have been going to Momma D's in Portsmouth, NH for a long time and I just had the most wonderful meal there tonight! They really have an edge over most of the other Italian restaurants around, a BIG edge! Great service and great food, and lately they have been running very creative specials. Just thought that I would share. We had a nice swordfish special and chicken parmigian.
